Wedding Music Suggestions

All-Classical 89.5 KBAQ sometimes receives questions from people who want to have classical music as part of their wedding ceremonies but aren´t sure what pieces to play or when to play them. We have compiled a list of a few familiar, popular and beautiful pieces that, in most cases, you can easily get from your local music store. The following are the parts of the traditional ceremony and a few suggestions for pieces to include in it.

There are 5 parts to the traditional wedding ceremony:

PRELUDE --while guests are being seated

PROCESSIONAL --when the wedding party comes down the aisle, followed by the bride

INTERLUDE --during the ceremony

RECESSIONAL --after the ceremony is concluded

RECEPTION-- the party after the ceremony
