KBAQ Summer Broadway Giveaway

KBAQ announces the Summer Broadway giveaway - a chance to win a pair of seasons tickets to ASU Gammage Broadway series for the 2009-2010 performance season, featuring the following seven productions: Legally Blonde, Little House on The Prairie, August: Osage County, Mary Poppins, Avenue Q, The 39 Steps and In The Heights. Rules

KBAQ's Broadway Giveaway begins Wednesday, July 29th at 12PM MST and ends Thursday July 30th at 5PM or at which time 130 members have contributed a minimum of $50 to support KBAQ classical music programming, whichever comes first. The contest is closed as soon as 130 members have contributed $50 or more to support KBAQ or at 5PM on Thursday, July 30th 2009. KBAQ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries. The drawing will be conducted on Monday, August 3rd, 2009 and the winner will be announced on Monday, August 3rd, 2009 during the broadcast of the Mozart Buffet beginning at noon and posted online on KBAQ.org. KBAQ will also notify the winner by phone and e-mail.

The winner must contact the KBAQ development department (480) 833-1122 to make arrangements to secure the prize. There is no purchase or donation necessary. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter

Anyone 18 years and older can participate between 12PM, Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 and Thursday July 30th at 5PM or at which time 130 members have contributed a minimum of $50 to support KBAQ classical music programming, whichever comes first. Individuals may enter this contest using one of the following methods:

• Make an online credit card contribution at kbaq.org
• Submit your entry online at kbaq.org with or without a contribution.
• Call (480) 833-1122 with or without a contribution.

All entries must include your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, and all other requested information.

Eligibility Restrictions

• Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age and older.
• KBAQ employees and their families are not eligible to enter any KBAQ contest.
• KBAQ Community Advisory Board members are not eligible to enter any KBAQ contest while in office.
• Limit one entry per person.

Selection of Winner

KBAQ will select one winner and five alternates at random from all entries received by the deadline, Thursday July 30th at 5PM or at which time 130 members have contributed a minimum of $50 to support KBAQ classical music programming, whichever comes first.

All decisions made by station management with regard to the prize, the selection of prizewinners, and the interpretation of these rules are final. Each entrant, by virtue of entering the contest, agrees to accept the decision of the station as final. Prizewinner need not listen or be present to win. KBAQ will notify prizewinner by phone, mail and email. KBAQ is not responsible for any mechanical telephone error, failure or omission; lost or misdirected mail, faxes or e-mail; neglect on the part of the US Postal Service; or e-mail service disruption.

KBAQ reserves the right, at any time to award the prize to another eligible prizewinner, drawn at random, if the original prizewinner cannot make use of the prize or in the event that the original prizewinner does not meet eligibility requirements. If a prizewinner fails to accept the prize for any reason, KBAQ will not award a make-good prize. KBAQ will not provide replacements for a forfeited prize.

Conditions

Prizewinner accepts responsibility for all taxes, tips and other liabilities. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. By entering, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless KBAQ including all officers, directors, employees, volunteers and sponsors from all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in KBAQ's Metropolitan Opera Giveaway promotion. KBAQ, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or the operation of the KBAQ website as well as any person in violation of the rules.

Right to Make Changes

KBAQ reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

Responsibilities

KBAQ is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.

Copies of Contest Rules

Copies of the written contest rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the contest at kbaq.org. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to KBAQ, 2323 W. 14th Street Tempe, Arizona 85281.
